Bible Lesson: Romans 10:11-15 (CEB)

Reflection Questions:

1. Have you ever thought of God’s task for you as one of being a preacher?

2. How can you make your feet a holy feature by carrying and announcing the good news of God in Jesus Christ?

3. When was the last time you felt God speaking directly to you in a talk, message, or sermon? Did you think about that being the Holy Spirit preparing you to “preach” Good News throughout the week?

4. What strikes you about the St. Francis of Assisi quote Pastor Mark shared: “Preach the gospel unceasingly, and when necessary, use words”?

5. Since the Gospel is for all people, who are the people in your neighborhood who you need to tell and bring the good news of hope and salvation?

1. How do you typically approach singing to God in worship?

 

1. Considering all of the health benefits to singing, which one(s) do you think helps you the most, or could be most helpful for you?

 

1. How does it strike you that God designed us so our breathing and heart rates sync up together when we sing?

 

1. What part of your wandering heart needs to be tuned so God is what you worship as opposed to some of the idols we tend to love?

 

1. After today’s message, do you think you will approach singing differently as a vital part of worship?
